Root and Rise Therapy seeks to help individuals who have experienced trauma heal or explore and develop their identity within the spaces they show up in. We hope to help heal individuals who have experienced generational trauma, relationship trauma, familial trauma or conflict, or burden or pressure related to familial expectations and experience and develop their identity while being multicultural and being authentic to themselves. This space is created for people of color to develop their identity, learn more about themselves while learning healthy and productive ways to heal and navigate internal and external conflict.
Root and Rise Therapy works with couples who are facing conflict around not being in sync, lacking strong communication skills or experiencing issues and conflict related to family issues.

Natasha is a Nationally Accredited, Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience working with adults and adolescents in her 6+ years of practicing therapy. Her expertise includes generational trauma, trauma, substance use issues, life transitions, self esteem, mental health issues and relationship challenges. She is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Brainspotting Phase 1 and Gottman Level 1 for couples. Her approach is humanistic, client-centered and strength-based, incorporating other therapeutic modalities when appropriate.
As a second-generation South Asian, she understands and personally navigates cultural differences, family dynamics, and the impact of unresolved trauma or navigating a bicultural identity. Cultural and generational traumas might have been normalized or brushed aside during one's upbringing. Therapy can be a powerful step toward addressing and healing these issues. Her goal is to provide a non-judgmental, comfortable environment where progress happens at the client's pace,
